So, I've had PARCC and CMAS and they just suck. I think the scores get schools grants and stuff, but why else are they important?
We need them to measure student success. They are hard and horrible, but it KIND OF makes sense. Not completely though. The language arts portion is always the same, it gets a little harder as you go though. They are uses as data to see the quality of the teaching at the school.
You can oppt. out of it, if you want to be super bored for 2 hours. And then another 2 hours. Oooh, then another 2 hours. Conclusion, you are bored for many hours if you do.
We "prepare" for PARCC, CMAS, or whatever they changed the name to, and when spring comes around, we take it. And get the results back. THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR. I do not appreciate the tests.
